Marco Facchin is an eclectic musician. He is harpsichordist and organist. He is specialized in the interpretation of Early Music, and he is also songwriter and producer. As artistic director of Antiqua (Early Music Festival in Bolzano) I am happy to announce the 2008 edition: it's called Facing East, and will feature many musicians from East Europe, beside already well-known artists of the international scene: Ensemble 415, Axivil, Susanne Ryden, Christian hilz, Bozen Baroque Orchestra, Soloists of Catherine the Great.

I did the recording of a new discovered Leopold Mozart's oratorium (where I played the organ-solo part) for the Italian music magazine Amadeus (25.000 copies) with the Bozen Baroque Orchestra. The CD was sold with the October issue of the magazine Amadeus, which is available now. This project is co-financed by the "Ufficio Cultura Italiana, Provincia Autonoma di Bolzano.

My new project with Galatea Ranzi and Marco Andriolo, two of the best Italian actors, was presented at "Antiqua 2007".The project's theme is the cultural ambiente in Venice in the 18. century,focusing on the great composer Antonio Vivaldi. Watch some picture of the show here.
